A Mochila Wayuu is a traditional drawstring bag hand-crocheted by Wayuu artisans in La Guajira, Colombia. Its colour, pattern and small variations make every piece one of a kind.

Mochila Wayuu bags are crocheted by hand from durable Colombian acrylic thread using skilled techniques shared through generations of Wayuu artisans.

The making time varies with the bag's size, pattern and the individual artisan's process, so we do not assign one fixed production time to every bag.

Each bag is made by hand in small quantities and designed for long use. Our standard woven bags use durable Colombian acrylic thread, so we do not make a blanket natural-fibre or natural-dye claim. Caring for your bag and using it for years is the most practical way to extend its life.

Stop using the bag if the damage could worsen, then email support@mochila.au with your order number, a short description and clear photos. If the bag arrived faulty, damaged or incorrect, we cover reasonable return postage where a return is required and provide the remedy available under Australian Consumer Law. These rights are not limited to 30 days.
