Our bags are 100% authentic and handwoven by the women of the Wayuu tribe. There is only 1 of each, so if a bag catches your eye, make sure you grab it while you can!

Where are Mochila bags made?

Our bags are handcrafted in Colombia by the skilled Wayuu artisans. We collaborate with some of the finest craftsmen in the region to bring you these exquisite and high-quality bags.

Can I machine wash my bag?

You can machine wash your Mochila bag if it doesn't have pearls. Use a gentle, cold wash cycle with a low spin speed and avoid tumble drying.

How long does shipping take?

All orders are shipped via Australia Post from Brisbane, QLD and you can expect your order to arrive between 2-8 days.

Express Post is also available for alittle as $10 on the checkout page.

Can I return my bag if it doesn't suit me?

Yes, we provide a 30-day free return policy for all our products. If you'd like to return your purchase, please contact our customer support team at support@mochila.au, and they will assist you with the return process for a refund.

The most beautiful bag

I recently purchased a bag from Mochila. I was drawn to them due to the beautiful designs and colours. I purchased a large tote. Perfect size for all my daily stuff. I have had so many compliments, so it was a perfect gift to me. When I ordered the bag, it was just before Cyclone Alfred was due to arrive. They immediately contacted me and explained there could be a delay in dispatch - which was completely understandable. But there was no real delay. A very good experience with both the product and customer service.

A little bit of colourful Colombia on my shoulder.

I ordered two bags (took advantage of the deal - second one at half price) oh my ! they are exactly as seen and described on the website. They are so colourful and very well made. I’ve had so many compliments already and I’ve only had them for a few weeks. The delivery service was excellent, timely and trouble free. All correspondence with the company was answered within a reasonable amount of time.
The bags are a little bit of Colombia on your shoulder ! Makes you feel like you are there.

I love my new bag.. I ordered the large but wish it was a bit bigger. Also a slightly longer strap. Otherwise it is a lovely bag and will order another in different colours in the near future.
